Herding Tests and Trials
Our herding events will take place at Polly Simpson's farm in New Richmond, WI (20 miles form Stillwater, MN). We will be holding a total of six trials (three Sheep and three Ducks) over the two days. Limits will be 25 Sheep runs and 12 Duck runs per Trial; 20 Sheep runs per Test Event. Trials and Tests may run concurrently; Sheep Trial runs will take precedence over Duck Trial runs or Test runs.
Note: There will be two all-breed herding trials at the same location just before the Specialty. Look here for the information.

Herding Instinct Tests
Instinct testing will be offered on Monday, October 5, 2009, and is limited to 25 entries.
Judging Schedule
On Sunday, First Handler’s Meeting will be at 8:30 am with classes to follow as listed. Judging will start at 8:45 am. On Monday, First Handler’s Meeting will be at 8:00 am with classes to follow as listed. Judging will start at 8:15 am. There will be a brief handler’s meeting before the start of each class and/or stock & course at the judge’s determination. Lunch break will be at the judge’s discretion.

Herding Lunch Buffet
Lunches will be available on site both days. On the menu for Sunday is a Taco Salad Bar; Monday’s offering is a Chicken Sandwich with a choice of two salads. Cost is $10 per lunch. Soft drinks and water supplied.
