Parade of Titleholders
The Parade of Titleholders is a wonderful way to honor your Beardie and feature his/her versatility. To be eligible to enter, a Bearded Collie must have earned an AKC title in conformation, obedience, rally, herding, tracking or agility, or any BCCA Register of Merit. Other titles or non-regular designations may be listed, but they alone do not make a dog eligible for the parade. The event will take place the afternoon of Friday, October 9. All Beardies entered will receive a personalized rosette.
To enter, please complete the Parades Entry Form, include a 75-word (maximum) description of your dog’s accomplishments, a three-generation pedigree, a photo, and the appropriate fee. Label the back of all photos with the dog’s name and the owner’s name, address and phone number. Please print clearly or type all information. The entry fee, which includes a full page ad with photo in the Specialty catalog, is $35. Entry deadline is September 2, 2009.
Rescue Parade
Rescued Beardies are showcased in this heartwarming parade. Join us on Friday afternoon, immediately after the Titleholders Parade, as we honor these special Beardies and the families who have welcomed them into their lives. All participants will receive a personalized rosette and commemorative item.
There is no charge to enter this event. Just complete the Parades Entry Form and include a 75-word (maximum) story, typed or printed, about your rescued Beardie. Please remember to send a photo (labeled with the dog’s name and your name, address and phone) to accompany your Beardie’s story in the show catalog. Entry deadline is September 2, 2009.
